I splurged and I cried.

I splurged.
i spent exactly $145.99 for the past 2days.
only for myself.
i’m a bad Bad BAD girl.
all the After-Christmas Sales have proved to be a big No No for me anymore.

I cried.
i don’t mean cry cry on the money that I have spent on shopping.
in fact, I enjoyed it very much and i was really satisfied with all the purchases made.
i cried for Benjamin Buttons, for a sad story in the cinema which I have paid 10 dollars for.

It was money well spent

fluttering. 9:51 PM

All the excitement and celebration of the festive Christmas had finally hit me. I am on my way back home in a bus after having a last minute shopping in the city. I am so late. I am so gonna screw up tonight’s Christmas Eve dinner with my housemates and a visitor from Korea.

Foreseen that they would be closed for the next 2-7 days, most of the fresh fruits and vegetables merchants in the market have reduced the price of their produces to as greatly as possible. And my biggest finding of the day: a big basket of fresh juicy peaches at the price of $3. muwhahahaha… *to my fellow housemates : you ppl will have to survive on my peaches for the next 2 days.. yehehehe.. XD

Early during the day just before my shopping spree started, I was working in one of the busiest restaurant located at Chinatown. It was such a surprise that we had made such good business today. Approximately 20 roasted duck were sold to Caucasians early in the morning. I guess many people have improvised to use roasted duck instead of roasted turkey or chicken for their big feast tonight. Talking about the big feast tonight, I had forbid myself from having any food since early morning. Well, I have achieved my goal. My stomach is grumbling louder and louder by every minute.

The dish that I was suppose to make was first pasta, then burritos, change my mind to tacos, and again Chinese fried rice, finally decided on Peking duck roll. fickle minded hei. I have bought half a roasted duck (deboned) and Chinese thin pancake, ‘Popiah’ for my special roll which is really easy to make! and a German cheesecake as desert. While Mona is making Cannelloni and buying wildberry cheesecake, Sally's going to prepare Tapoyaki. Hope that all will turn out well later.

Vegetable sticks for my super special duck roll!

dance with me. 10:00 PM

Quick Quick slow.
Quick Quick slow.

Life always follows the inclination of quick quick slow, quick quick slow.
happiest moments always drift pass quickly,
while unhappy moments always flow pass slowly
and it always seems like a life long period of time.

I want to savor this moment,
this very present,
happy moment,
with my friends,
and a little blessing from our mother nature.

Dust. 12:33 AM

i bit my tongue.
and I have been grinding my teeth a lot in my sleep lately.

they told me that I’m in stress.
but I’m not.

Now that I came to realize that it was because of the feeling that I have towards going home,
a feeling of FEAR.
fear that people might think of me differently,
fear that the relationship that I initiate again will leave me heartbroken in the end,
fear that I’m might not reach the expectancy to the eye of certain people,
fear that I might lose control over my life and being locked up within the 4 walls again,
and fear that hatred would arise within me again.

i dreaded to return.

Today, I have decided to blog about my one year old baby.
didn't you notice that I was pregnent before I left Malaysia?
that is because I've kept it as a long-dark secret that no body knows!

Nah.. I was just joking.
I remember clearly last year after I have graduated from A-levels, I took the initiative to look for jobs in order to save up some extra cash. I have worked for a whole long 6 months. Working until as late as 1am everynight as a waitress. Working long hours as a casual in a student counselling office and a hardcore promoter marketing a profusion of proucts in various shopping centres. All for the sake of my little baby bright green laptopie!

One night, it finally came. I was jumping on my feet. hehe.. Well, I would say that it was not easy in order to save up that much money to buy it because I would have always spent those money even before I step into the bank to save it. :D

My precious...

Since obtaining my award after all the blood, sweat and tears that I have put in. *probably not the tears! hehe... My baby have accompany through all the barriers in my academic of brain torturing assignments and redundant online quizes. Not to mention that it had also accompanied me through time when I was bored (hehe.. I spent approximately 9 hours a day in fornt of my laptopie playing games and watching movie). Lastly, I have gone back to the days that I used to blog again.

Okie, the post from now onwards will be a secret that I'm gonna share.

Approximately 2 months after returning to the world of blogging, I tremble upon this secret community known as Nuffnang and have since been a silent reader of many fellow Nuffnanger. Not only have I made friends through this ring of community, I have also gained insight of the life of my friends all around the world! *thus, I do not fell so lonely! Furthermore, the biggest secret of all is that it is one of the easiest way to earn some extra pocket and it is as simple as placing the ad in my blog!

Nuffnang is now looking for all Australian bloggers of all ages, genders, shapes and sizes to join the community! All you have to do is go to the following link http://nuffnang.com.au/ and sign up to be officially a Nuffnanger.

At the same time, since christmas is coming, I have sort of look into a few cool presents and found this

Dell™ Inspiron™ Mini 9

It's so tiny winy that I could finally bring it to uni for lectures and not worry about it from falling from the stupid small tables that we always get.

I can carry it in my handbag for all my long trips in Adelaide.
And not forgetting that I could sneak it into the toilet to go online, chatting off with my friends when my parents forbit me to.

In addition, my baby laptopie is lonely, it needs a sibling to play with it...

So Mummy, Daddy, if both of you are reading this. *hint, look no further for any other Chrismas gift hor..
Hohoho...

Adelaide Guitar Festival. 8:13 PM

The ticking clock on the wall of the big white examination hall has finally stopped.
Ahah.. it marks the end of my freshman year in Flinders. Yeah! Now that I’ve regained control over my life, I am trying to pack my tight schedules with as much work, trips and fun as possible.

Saturday – Adelaide Guitar Festival, the attempt to break The Guinness World Record by forming the biggest guitar band failed. All guitarists who attended are required to play the song ‘It’s a long way to the top’ – AC/DC at the same time. In order to break the record set down by Germans, we needed at least 1803 people to register at our counter as guitarist. However, we were short of approximately 300 people that night (or that’s what they say).

Nonetheless, more than 1500 guitarist, bands, friends and people of all ages turned up. The crowd was fantastic and it was way above the amount of people I expected to see. People were cheering and we even enjoyed an after concert featuring The Party Boys and GT-stringer. It was a fun experience with the rest of the International Student committee albeit a few drunkies came after Cricket Day to try and make a chaos out of the event.

The grand stage in Elder Park

You might not see this clearly,

but everyone were holding up their guitars in the air

Don't ask us why we were in green hats.

(It's part of the attraction to bring ppl in)

We particularly wanted to take a picture with

this pretty red lady with wings and carrying a pink guitar
