ferocious little beast 6:09 PM

yeah.. i'm finally done with 2 of the assignments
(phew... sweeping off my big drops of sweat)
which tally up to 38 pages of it. (how cool is that.. heehee.)

anyway, look at what we have found in our garden that we've barely lay our footprints upon?!
it is this cute little guardian pup which've been sitting in our garden for the whole year and we didn't even notice.

when i went up to the net to google about it
i found out that this little ferocious pup's name is Shisa
and it was suppose to come in a pair.
One with a closed mouth, and the other one with an open mouth.
Shisa are believed to protect and ward off various evils.
The one with an open mouth was believed to ward off evil spirits,
and the one with a closed mouth is to keep the good spirits.

now.. it makes me wonder what happen to the other Shisa in our garden.

duck duckie 9:52 PM

Hello people!

i'm back from my little road trip to melbourne.. weeheehee!
it was fantastic even though i've not finish much work during the holidays.

in order to keep you people in suspense,
(nah, it was just an excuse as i'm too busy with my work atm)
so i thought that i would blog about my road trip (or sort of like a mini bus trip) a bit later and blog about what we did before the trip.

things that you definitely need to do if you are here in Flinders.
when the weather is not too hot, the sun is shining and before the ducks are all gone during winter is...
..
.
to feed them.

due to it's strategic location of the university and the lake up on the hill
it sort of attracts and houses these little fluffy quack quacks.
in my own view, it has somehow gives our university an extra edge compared to others.
just to point out the importance of ducks to our university, they even have a cafe named after ducks - Blue duck cafe.

and Yes!
you are right,
the ducks here are all not yellow in colour,
not like the yellow ugly ducklings that we have once imagined when we were young.
their feathers was somehow like a shiny blue and it comes in a few shades like a peacock.
anyway i couldn't really emphasis how much fun it was to feed the ducks unless you've tried it.
