All the excitement and celebration of the festive Christmas had finally hit me. I am on my way back home in a bus after having a last minute shopping in the city. I am so late. I am so gonna screw up tonight’s Christmas Eve dinner with my housemates and a visitor from Korea.

Foreseen that they would be closed for the next 2-7 days, most of the fresh fruits and vegetables merchants in the market have reduced the price of their produces to as greatly as possible. And my biggest finding of the day: a big basket of fresh juicy peaches at the price of $3. muwhahahaha… *to my fellow housemates : you ppl will have to survive on my peaches for the next 2 days.. yehehehe.. XD

Early during the day just before my shopping spree started, I was working in one of the busiest restaurant located at Chinatown. It was such a surprise that we had made such good business today. Approximately 20 roasted duck were sold to Caucasians early in the morning. I guess many people have improvised to use roasted duck instead of roasted turkey or chicken for their big feast tonight. Talking about the big feast tonight, I had forbid myself from having any food since early morning. Well, I have achieved my goal. My stomach is grumbling louder and louder by every minute.

The dish that I was suppose to make was first pasta, then burritos, change my mind to tacos, and again Chinese fried rice, finally decided on Peking duck roll. fickle minded hei. I have bought half a roasted duck (deboned) and Chinese thin pancake, ‘Popiah’ for my special roll which is really easy to make! and a German cheesecake as desert. While Mona is making Cannelloni and buying wildberry cheesecake, Sally's going to prepare Tapoyaki. Hope that all will turn out well later.

Vegetable sticks for my super special duck roll!
